1. Introduction
1.1. Welcome to the National Register of Training and Accreditation UK (NRTAUK), hereinafter referred to as “NRTAUK,” “we,” “our,” or “the Organisation.”
1.2. By accessing, browsing, or utilising the NRTAUK website, online platforms, accreditation services, or associated materials (collectively referred to as the “Services”), you, the user (“Member,” “you,” or “your”), expressly acknowledge, understand, and agree to be bound by the present Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
1.3. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement enforceable under the laws of England and Wales and supersede any prior representations, arrangements, or agreements, whether oral or written.
2. Membership Plans and Payment Terms
2.1. NRTAUK offers subscription-based membership packages in monthly and annual formats. Selection of a plan constitutes a contractual commitment.
Monthly Membership Obligations
2.2. By enrolling in a monthly membership plan, the Member undertakes a minimum contractual commitment of ten (10) consecutive months, calculated from the date of successful payment. This obligation exists due to the immediate conferral of exclusive commercial advantages, including but not limited to supplier discounts, downloadable templates, compliance guidance, and member-only resources.
2.3. Cancellation of a monthly membership prior to fulfilment of the minimum term, whether voluntary or through failed payment processing, shall result in immediate and automatic termination of accreditation status, without refund or pro-rata compensation.
Annual Membership Obligations
2.4. Annual membership plans are payable in full at the point of subscription. All payments are non-refundable once access to NRTAUK’s online Services has been granted. By proceeding, the Member acknowledges the commercial value of downloadable information, digital certificates, and discounts, which may be immediately exploited upon access.
3. Payment Failures and Debt Recovery
3.1. In the event of a failed or reversed payment, NRTAUK reserves the unilateral right to suspend or terminate membership privileges and withdraw accreditation status with immediate effect.
3.2. Where the Member defaults within the minimum contractual period, the unpaid balance representing the remainder of the contractual obligation shall become immediately due and payable in full.
3.3. NRTAUK reserves the right to assign or refer outstanding balances to licensed third-party debt collection agencies. The Member shall be liable for all reasonable administrative, legal, and enforcement costs incurred during the recovery process, which shall be added to the outstanding balance.
4. Use of Membership Benefits and Intellectual Property
4.1. Active Members in good standing are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access member benefits, including but not limited to supplier discounts, compliance resources, accreditation status, and online training materials.
4.2. The Member shall not reproduce, distribute, transmit, modify, create derivative works of, or commercially exploit any NRTAUK-provided materials without prior written authorisation.
4.3. Unauthorised disclosure or sharing of NRTAUK materials (including supplier codes, accreditation certificates, downloadable templates, or training content) constitutes a material breach and may result in:
- Immediate termination of membership without refund,
- Withdrawal of accreditation, and
- Potential civil or criminal proceedings.
5. Amendments to Terms
5.1. NRTAUK reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend, modify, supplement, or replace any provision of these Terms at any time.
5.2. Material amendments shall be communicated to Members via electronic notice. Continued use of Services following such amendments shall be deemed conclusive acceptance of the revised Terms.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. To the maximum extent permissible under applicable law, NRTAUK, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and subcontractors disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of business, goodwill, revenue, or anticipated savings.
6.2. The Member’s sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with Services is cessation of membership in accordance with these Terms.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
7.1. These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
7.2. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising hereunder.
